Our servers run on Linux Red Hat operating systems using 250GB SCSI Hard Drives and are setup in a RAID 1 convention. Savage Hosting operates from the UK but our Servers are based in a data centre in Houston Texas in the US. The reason for this is down to cost and support. We have 24 hour coverage of our servers and there are staff there 24 hours a day if there are any technical queries or hardware problems.

We can purchase your domain for you if you wish and set everything up with the package of your choosing. Or if you already have your domain then you will need to make a couple of minor changes to the account details for us to host it for you. In the meantime, the details you will need to be aware of are will depend on what you require and what type of domain you have (.co.uk .com etc...):

For a full domain transfer (99% of our custom is) you need to change the DNS servers. Moving your hosting to us is very simple. We'll take care of all the changes needed after a few details from yourself.
